Custom Screen Printing & Design

Very Good Upgrades

Discharge Ink

We use incredibly soft to the touch discharge inks that settle perfectly into the fibers of a garment producing a “no ink feel”. During this process, a chemical reaction is used to remove the dye from the shirt changing the color of the fabric back to its natural color. (Usually a light tan color, aka cotton). We recommend darker cotton garments for this ink type, although it can be used on certain heather garments for a vintage look. Keep in mind that not all colors will discharge. Our design experts at Very Good Printing Company can help you determine the best printing method for your custom apparel. We can PMS match discharge inks as well, results may vary depending on shirt color & brand.

*Discharge printed shirts should be washed by the customer before they take their "no feel" state.

Split Fountain

Looking for a simple way to have your prints stand out? Split fountain printing Is used for creating color gradation and involves combining two or more colors on one screen. This is a cost effective way to add multiple colors to your design without additional production charges normally associated with spot color prints. This printing technique can be done on light and dark colored shirts, however discharge inks will need to be used for dark garments.

*Additional charges may apply.

We can easily help you with that by removing the manufacturer's sewn in tags and replacing it with a single color printed or heat pressed tag on the inside of the shirt.

*Not all garments are available for tag removal

We will also apply a size sticker on each bag so you know what size is inside. Keep things simple by adding this upgrade now.

Pantone Color Matching

If you need a color outside of our standard ink selection, our Pantone Matching System (PMS) can recreate any color. It’s always best to supply a Pantone color code if able as no color looks the same on every monitor. A certain blue on your display may appear to be a different blue on ours. PMS color accuracy will always be close, but rarely exact.

4 Color Process (CMYK)

This technique uses 4 colors to achieve a photorealistic image (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). This is certainly a more technical process and requires special transparent inks that can be layered. For best results the process should be used on white or light-colored garments.
